What we cannot do

FinancialEssentials.in is not a bank, lender, card issuer, payment app, insurer, investment platform, government department or regulator. We cannot access an account, reverse a transaction, unblock a card, approve a loan, correct a credit report, file a tax return or recover money.

For an account-specific problem, contact the relevant institution through its official app, website, branch or verified phone number. For suspected financial cyber fraud in India, report promptly through your bank and current official government channels, including 1930 and cybercrime.gov.in where applicable.

Protect your information

Do not email confidential or unnecessary personal information. In particular, never send:

  • OTP, UPI PIN, ATM PIN or internet-banking password;
  • full debit-card or credit-card number, CVV or card photograph;
  • complete bank statement, Aadhaar, PAN or passport copy;
  • credit-report login credentials or tax-portal password; or
  • remote-access codes, QR codes or screen-sharing links.
If a screenshot is genuinely useful for a website error, cover account numbers, transaction references, names, addresses, QR codes and other personal details before attaching it.

Corrections and transparency

Material correction requests are reviewed under our Editorial Policy. Commercial proposals are subject to our Affiliate Disclosure. Sending an email does not create a financial-advisory, legal, confidential or client relationship; see the Disclaimer.

Information submitted by email is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
